UPDATE: This last month I have come to realize that couponing has really changed over the years since I started this site. Most people no longer print coupons and just use digital coupons or nothing at all. We don’t see nearly the amount of terrific deals as we used to, and we don’t even see as many good coupons come out as we used to. Most coupons now have strict limits, retailers are enacting stricter limits, and the stock up deals are few and far between. Very few people have time to chase the deals as life gets busier and busier. Many are even using shopping resources that make it so there isn’t even a need to get out of the car to get their groceries because they are so busy with other responsibilities. In light of all these changes, the amount of people that come to this website each day to save money has dropped drastically. As I watched that happen, I found that my love for finding deals waned away as well, as fewer and fewer people were reading the posts I was putting up. After taking this last month off, and lot of soul searching, I have realized that with all of the changes in couponing we have seen, I no longer have the passion for deal finding that I used to. All of these things have come together to make me recognize that it’s time for me to step away from this site for awhile. I don’t know how long it will be. I’m hoping I will find a new love for tracking down those deals for everyone so I can come back with a renewed passion for helping all of you make the most of your money! Thank you so much for all of your years of reading my little blog. I have enjoyed getting to know all of you through our groups and the comments you have left. I hope to be back again soon with a new love for saving money!

This update makes me sad, I was so hoping to see new deals posted. I completely understand, but just saddened as my budget now dictates I be more vigilant in tracking down the deals I’m left struggling in where to turn for a reliable resource.

This made me cry….I am seeing more and more people at the store using coupons and shopping lists….and I go up to them and tell them that I get excited when I see people using a shopping list and coupons and that I really get excited when I see guys with a shopping list and using coupons lol I have missed you….but I understand

With the introduction of shop from your computer and pick up in store programs that are gaining a lot of popularity, plus digital coupons, things have just really changed from what they were back in couponing’s heyday. This has definitely not been an easy decision, and that was a super hard post to write after so many years with all of you, but it’s been a long time coming based on the trends. Unfortunately most people are more interested in saving time than money these days it seems. Times have really changed!

Your site was one of my favorites and sad to see you go, but completely understand. I use to have such joy deal chasing as well, but unfortunately in the past year, life has become so exhaustingly busy, I can barely find time to even go for a sale. I also have noticed that a good stock up price, and coupon amounts has drastically changed. I still find them, but not like before. Enjoy your time off, and I will still be here when you are ready with your renewed found joy.

I appreciate the time you put into this site! I found you when I was looking for Fred Meyer deals, and you were the only one that did great match ups. I love shopping there, but I loved it even more when you were helping me do it, haha!
I completely understand needing to step away. If you ever come back, I hope its with a focus on Fred Meyer… I just don’t have as much fun without you helping me shop there!
