Would you like to save some time and add a little extra sanity into your daily schedule? Then give menu planning a try!

Meal Plan Monday

Menu planning doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need any fancy software or to sign up for a meal planning membership.  Just a piece of paper, 15 minutes a week, and a magnet to keep your list on the fridge will work.

Here are some excellent reasons to menu plan.

  • Meal and menu planning eliminate the daily “what’s for dinner?” drama that we can all do without.
  • More money is saved! When you have a plan it is much easier to stick to the shopping list and it also prevents more food from going to waste because you can factor in a leftover night or plan to re-use them in some other way, like lunches.
  • Your diet is healthier. It’s so much easier to remember the veggies when they are listed on the menu!

Those are just a few of the reasons to make a menu plan, even if it is for just one meal per day.  Here are this week’s menu suggestions!

Beef Goulash with Green Beans and Cheddar Biscuits.

Cheesy Burrito Casserole with Salad.

Baked Chicken Thighs, Parmesan Roasted Mushrooms and Baked Acorn Squash.

Slow Cooker Ravioli with Sauteed Spinach and the rest of the Cheddar Biscuits.

Ranch Chicken Tacos (using leftover Chicken,) Easy Mexican Rice and Cabbage Slaw.

Garlic Sirloin Bites with Scalloped Potatoes and Green Beans.

Home made Pizza night with Garlic Butter Hot Wings.

Dessert of the week: Dr. Pepper Cake.

You can find all of these recipes and more over on our Dinner Board on Pinterest, make sure to follow it for fresh dinner recipe ideas!
