Would you like to save some time and add a little extra sanity into your daily schedule? Then give menu planning a try!
Menu planning doesn’t have to be complicated. You don’t need any fancy software or to sign up for a meal planning membership. Just a piece of paper, 15 minutes a week, and a magnet to keep your list on the fridge will work.
Here are some excellent reasons to menu plan.
- Meal and menu planning eliminate the daily “what’s for dinner?” drama that we can all do without.
- More money is saved! When you have a plan it is much easier to stick to the shopping list and it also prevents more food from going to waste because you can factor in a leftover night or plan to re-use them in some other way, like lunches.
- Your diet is healthier. It’s so much easier to remember the veggies when they are listed on the menu!
Those are just a few of the reasons to make a menu plan, even if it is for just one meal per day. Here are this week’s menu suggestions!
Creamy Spinach and Sausage Pasta with Parmesan Garlic Monkey Bread.
Oven Fried Chicken Tenders with Potato Salad (making a big batch).
Slow Cooker Breakfast Casserole with Waldorf Salad.
German Meatballs , Potato Salad and Sauteed Spinach.
Beef Enchilada Casserole and Salad.

Tuna Melts with the rest of the Potato and Waldorf Salads.
Dessert of the week: Pistachio Cake
