DIY Pinwheel Hair Clips

If you have girls, this is a craft to check out. It is for super cute DIY pinwheel hair clips. They are pretty easy to make and you only need a handful of supplies to make them.

Plus the supplies are pretty cheap and you may already have some of them too.

DIY Pinwheel Hair Clips Supplies:

  • Felt (at least 2 colors)
  • Hot glue/hot glue gun
  • Colorful buttons
  • Threaded needle
  • Alligator hair clips
  • Scissors
  • Measuring tape

First, measure and cut 2 – 3×3″ (or as small or big as you’d like) matching pieces the pieces of felt.

Next, glue your felt squares together, especially on the edges.

Now, cut your felt on all 4 corners working your way to the center (don’t cut all the way to the center, leave about 1 1/2″)

Now carefully hot glue the bottom corner of each flat to the center of the pinwheel.

Next, you will sew your button to the center and tie off on the bottom.

Carefully hot glue a clip onto the bottom and your clip is ready to wear.

That is it! You now have some cute DIY pinwheel hair clips!
