2. Give them dipping options:

Children may be more likely to enjoy vegetables if they are given a dipping option. Try ranch with pea pods, cucumbers, or carrots. You can also try peanut butter with celery. If your child likes hummus try a veggie plate with a side of hummus. Most kids love to dip, so by giving dipping options you may get them on board.

3. Let them play with their food:

Let kids make funny faces with their fresh veggies. You can also call broccoli “dinosaur trees” and let them pretend to be dinosaurs eating them. Let them sort fresh veggies by color and think of other creative ways for them to get active with their food. 4. Take them shopping with you:

5. Let kids help you cook:

Kids who help with cooking are more likely to enjoy the food they cook. Let kids help make a vegetable side dish or cold salad dish using fresh vegetables. Not only will they enjoy helping but they may feel more adventurous about eating something they cooked.

6. Try smoothies:

One of the best ways to get kids to eat their vegetables is to mix them into juice and smoothies. Kale and spinach, carrots and greens can all be added to smoothie and juice recipes where they will be masked by the sweet taste of other ingredients.
