Can you believe I had UP Rewards expiring again? This is what happens when I don’t hit Rite Aid every week! There is a HOT Money Maker on the Brainstrong Kid’s DHA Supplement, but it ends today! Today is the last day to get the Money Maker Brainstrong, as well as all the other buys I picked up on my shopping trip! Sorry, the week really got away from me! You still have time to run in tonight and pick these up though!
Here is how I did:
4 Stayfree, $3.00 each 12
-(2) Buy One Get One Free MF Coupons from the 1/8 SS
4 GE Lightbulbs, $2.99 11.96
1 Kid’s Brainstrong 30 ct DHA Gummies, $10.39 with my 20% Wellness Discount (This had something spill on it in the car, so I apologize for the condition of the box!)
*These are $12.99 Shelf price
-$8.00/1 Rite Aid Video Values Store Coupon (NLA Available to watch. If you watched it last month, it will still be in your account to print-This Expires TODAY!)
-$2.00/1 MF Printable Coupon
+$2.06 Idaho Sales Tax
-$17.00 in expiring UP Rewards from my shopping trip two weeks ago
Total OOP: $3.41! Then I received (3) $2.00 UP Rewards for the Stayfree, (4) $2.00 UP Rewards for the GE Lightbulbs, for a total of $14.00 in new UP Rewards for next week!
I will also submit for a $10.00 Single Check Rebate for the Brainstrong, making that a $9.61 Money Maker if you have the 20% Wellness Discount, or an $8.01 Money Maker if you have no discount!
Here are some tips to shopping at Rite Aid!
The best way to get great buys is to keep rolling your UP Rewards from week to week. That way you have most of your OOP the firt week. Then you just keep rolling UP Rewards from one week to the next to pay nearly nothing OOP every week!
*You get The Wellness Discount for earning more than 1000 points in a year by shopping at Rite Aid! It is super easy to earn a Wellness Discount just by shopping the sales, and paying next-to-nothing Out of Pocket (OOP)! You earn the 10% discount off of the shelf price at 500 pts, and the 20% off of shelf price at 1000 pts. It does not come off of sale prices (but if your 20% discount is lower than the sale price, you will get whichever one is the lower price), but works wonders with promos that are based on shelf price!
**Single Check Rebates are the Rite Aid rebate program. It is really easy to do! You just go http://www.riteaid.com/, and click on Single Check Rebates. Then you enter the information they ask for on the receipt. You request your check at the end of the rebate period because you can only get one check for the whole month.
I like to use my rebates to buy Rite Aid gift cards that I use in case I run out of UP Rewards, so I don’t have to use cash! If you have enough stuff you will be buying, they will accept your check in store as payment, but it must all be used in one transaction
****Rite Aid Video Values Store Coupons are coupons that you earn by watching videos. You will need to create an account, then you watch the videos to earn coupons on those items! These are store coupons that you can stack with manufacturer coupons to get extra savings! I always watch them all every month because the coupons will stay in your rewards account for use during the next month as well! This is a great way to get things for FREE because on some things you double your savings on the items!
