This is a great shopping trip! We just had to share! Reader Tali, saved big and stocked up on meat and even picked up some produce! Finding ways to save on these items can be tricky but just keeping eye out for mark downs can result in some HUGE savings! Here is a break down of what she bought:

3 gallons of milk

3lb butter, $1.88

10 kraft BBQ sauce, $1.00 clearance price
-(5) $2 off Kraft Dressing, Kraft Mayo or Kraft Barbeque Sauce wyb Chicken (SS 03/17/13 R)

5 whole chicken, $.99/lb
- $2.00 off store discount sticker on product

4 cut up whole chicken $0.99/lb
-$2.00 off store discount sticker on product

Large pack cube steaks
-$2.00 off store discount sticker on product

2 pack of beef
-$2.00 off store discount sticker on product

She paid $56.62 and saved $97.03 getting stocked up on meat and also getting fresh produce! It “pays” to keep an eye out for clearance and discounted items and combining with your coupons! Great shop Tali and thanks for sharing!

HOT Deal on Stayfree at Albertsons!!

Janet, a reader of ours, gave us a heads up on a great deal happening at Albertsons this week! They have Stayfree Pads on sale Buy Two and get One FREE! There is also a tear pad that has a store coupon for $5 off when you spent $20 on select products PLUS we have the hot B1G1 Stayfree Product, exp. 2/6/13 (SS 01/06/13). Add all these together, and you have an amazing deal on your hands!!

So, here is what Janet purchased:

9 Stay Free packages, $3.49 each, (but 3 will be FREE)
-$5/20 store coupon
and (3) B1G1 Stayfree Product, exp. 2/6/13 (SS 01/06/13)
Final OOP: $5.77!!

If you happen to have another coupon on hand, you can use it to do this:

Final OOP: $2.17!! That’s like paying only $0.24 a package!!! CRAZY!!!
*Don’t forget Albertsons Coupon Policy allows you to apply a manufacturer’s coupon toward a free item in a promotion. 

Be on the lookout for some HOT coupons attached to the packages as well! I was shocked when I ran in and saw that quite a few of the packages at our Albertsons had $20 worth of coupons on them!!

Reader Back to School Staples Shop! Under $5.00 spent including tax!

Reader Annie made a Staples run for the great Back to School deals they are running this week!

Here is what she picked up!
*Please note, some of the coupons were regional.
3 Roseart 24ct. crayons $.50 each –> $1.50
Used the $1.00/3 MF Coupon from the 7/29 RP
*There was also a $1.00/3 Printable Coupon that is NLA.

3 Roseart 12ct. pencils $1.00 each –> $3.00
Used the $1.00/3 MF Coupon from the 7/29 RP

4 Bic Mecanical pencils $.25 each –> $1.00

2 Chalk Prang $.25 each –> $.50

2 Staples 100pk. paperclips $.01 each –> $.02

10 Pocket folders $.01 each –> $.10

6 2-Pocket Tissue $.01 each –> $.06

Sub: $4.18
tax: $.51
Total OOP: $4.69!

To get the $.01 items, you have to have a purchase over $5.00 to qualify for them. Annie’s purchase was $5.00 before coupons, so she was able to qualify for the Extreme Deals pricing. There was a $1.00/2 Bic Stationary item MF Coupon in the 7/29 SS from some areas that she may have been able to use on the mechanical pencils. With the coupon being over the value of the items, it may not have worked though. I am not sure how Staples would handle the coupon in that situation.

Reader Rite Aid Shop! Johnson & Johnson Double Dipping UPS! Today (7/31) Is the Last Day for This!

Reader Mandi ran to Rite Aid to take advantage of the Double Dipping UP Rewards running on Johnson & Johnson Products this week!

Here is what she did:

On the Johnson & Johnson, there is the spend $30 get a $10 UP from the paper but there is also a monthly UP of spend $15 get $5 (limit 2). The monthly UP Reward is ending today, 7/31, so be sure to head in there quick for this deal!

She bought 6 boxes of the 2 oz Desitin (1 at $5.21 (silver discount), 2 at $5.79 and 3 at $2.89 for the Buy 1 get 1 half off sale and one 1 J&J Natural foaming body wash at $6.29.

Total was $19.54 plus $1.85 tax. I saved $25.40!!

*While you are there, you might want to check the freezer section to see if your store carries Breyer’s Blasts. (Mine did not. boo!) But the regular Breyer’s was $3.69, so assuming that is the same price for the Blasts version your transaction would look a little like this:
Buy 2 Breyer’s Blasts Ice Cream, $3.69 ea
-Use $1.50/2 Breyer’s Blasts Printable Coupon
-and pair it up with Breyers Frozen Treats or Ice Cream, void in CA,CO,LA,NV,TN, TARGET coupon $1.50/2

Reader Walgreens Shop! Free Suave & Cheap Bacon and Eggs!

Reader Shelly made a quick run up to Walgreens to get in on the Free Suave and the great buy on breakfast items this week!

For the Suave, they are $1.00 each and you get a $2.00 Register Reward WYB 2, so they are Free after Register Reward!

She took the $4.00 in Register Rewards she had from the Suave transactions, rolled them into the eggs and bacon which are on in-ad coupon for only $.99 each this week (limit 6)! So the eggs and bacon only ended up costing her $1.94 because she lowered her OOP by using her Suave Register Rewards on it!

Thanks for sending this over for us Shelly so we can see how rolling Register Rewards can help us get what we need for less! Nice shopping!
