Safeway is a participating store in the Ibotta App Rebates! Be sure you check out our post “Ibotta App Explained” if you haven’t tried it out yet! Please note that Ibotta coupons can vary with each person and sometimes by store. The coupons in this post are in the Ibotta database, and may or may not all work at Safeway. All of that information will be in your coupons in your app.
Create a custom shopping list:
Click in the box next to each item you want to add to your shopping list.
Once you are finished, click the “My List” button in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Print your custom shopping list.
Great tool for Price Matching and staying organized.
You can do multiple stores on one list.
Don’t forget to click on the “Display all Matchups” tab to see the full list!

Deals with the Blue dollar sign are good prices, not stock-up deals!

2. The ibotta coupons for Speed stick and Kettle Chips are not available at Safeway, you have to go in and check the available offers at each store. Not all offers are available at every store.
Thanks Madison, the database is not showing me either of those things. They are showing me $3.00 WYB 2. I was told that each Ibotta coupon works at any store that is participating in Ibotta. I don’t have a phone to check them myself. I will take those out, thank you.
Madison, I don’t see on my phone where you can check different store’s offers. My phone shows that I can redeem kettle chips and speed stick at safeway because it’s on the list. Unless I’m looking at something wrong?
Chelsea, go into redeem on the offers and it shows what offers are available at Safeway. Vera, This was not rude, it was helpful so that people don’t go do these deals expecting to get the ibotta rebates and catalinas.
Ok, I see where you are saying now. I still show the kettle chips available to be redeemed, but you are right with the lady’s speedstick. I didn’t see it there.
Kari, Sorry, I didn’t see you comment when I replied. The Database always shows the smallest amount you can buy and the largest amount for some odd reason… I printed to Catalina details from coupon network and they are:
$1.00 wyb 2
$2.00 wyb 3
$3.00 wyb 4
I updated the match up with the catalina details, thank you. When I’m doing them I just go with what the database says since it already takes 6-8 hours to do this match up and there is no way I can stop and check everything, so I appreciate the head’s up. It also just says Ibotta Coupons and doesn’t tell each store. So I added something at the top that says that the offers vary by store since I do not have the right phone to check each one.
