Cherilyn, they should only be limiting you to two printable coupons per day (which is what we were limited to as well), not coupons in general. There is no limit set on manufacturer coupons for the newspaper. That is too bad they are giving you a bad time. I would definitely take a copy of the policy with you and point out to them that the only thing that is limited is printable coupons.
